Golden Mummies of Egypt

Golden Mummies of Egypt is a travelling exhibition of eight mummies from Manchester Museums collection.

The exhibition offers seven interactive touch screens covering the culture, beliefs and rituals of ancient Egypt, there are four Hieroglyphics interactives allowing visitors to explore the ancient Egyptian alphabet and create their own ‘cartouche’ (name in hieroglyphics). 

Three additional Interactive touch screens provide a 3d model of each of the mummies based on CT Scans, visitors can peel back layers of the scan moving through the wrappings, and flesh down to the bone.
